Economic Development Manager
Kelly Sandin is the Economic Development Manager for the Office of Knowledge Enterprise Development (OKED) at Arizona State University. Her focus is on the engagement efforts with local and statewide organizations on behalf of the ASU Corporate and Economic Development (CED) unit. Working alongside other university departments, regional governments, and community leaders, Kelly connects corporations with ASU’s student and alumni talent, fosters public-private partnerships, and helps attract companies to Greater Phoenix in order to progress the state’s economy. In addition, Kelly assists with CED outreach efforts and manages special projects.
Prior to economic development, Kelly spent nearly seven years on the ASU SkySong Operations team, where she earned the OKED Team Builder Award and was co-recipient of the OKED Commitment Award.
Kelly is an Arizona native and two-time ASU graduate. She received her B.A. in Public Relations and Strategic Media from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and her M.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the College of Public Programs.
